Suite Surrender opens at the Washington Little Theater (WLT) in just over two weeks with a cast of nine talented local actors led by directors Lauren Bentley and Jason LeBlanc. The pair previously directed Charley's Aunt together in the fall of 2020. That show - also a comedy - received glowing reviews from all over the community.

"We have really enjoyed working with this cast." LeBlanc said, "They are a hoot to be around and have really embraced each of their characters. We have so much fun during rehearsals!"
The play focuses on the pristine and luxurious Palm Beach Hotel during World War II. The resort is a pillar of high society, until two of America's top divas come to participate in the same USO war benefit - legendary feud still fuming! The hotel staff does everything they can to maintain orderliness, but things rapidly unravel into hilarious chaos as the entire suite soon surrenders to the divas' flaming vendetta. Filled with laughs behind every door (literally!), this comedy is sure to have you leaving with a smile on your face!

Suite Surrender will perform on December 2, 3, 9, 10, and 11 at 7:30pm Friday and Saturday, and 3pm on Sunday. Unlike most productions, there is only one Sunday performance this time, so patrons are encouraged to get their tickets early. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased on the theater's website, WashingtonLittleTheater.org
